ProfiLegal’s dispute resolution team, led by partner Vadym Matiushko and supported by attorney-at-law Oleksii Novykov, resolved a long-standing land dispute. The case involved a mining enterprise and the prosecutor’s office. The opponent, acting in the interests of the village council, demanded recovery of an unjustifiably inflated debt for land use.
ProfiLegal’s lawyers developed a comprehensive defense strategy for the client in the land dispute. While representing the client in courts of all instances, including the cassation stage, they demonstrated that the claims were groundless and lacked legal basis.
As a result of ProfiLegal’s professional work, the court set a fair debt amount, 15 times lower than prosecutor’s claims.
